HOLIDAY DIY: Deck-orate Your Home with Books!

What you need:
3 hardcover books, same size, covers removed
Colored wrapping paper or tin foil
Tape
Scissors
Colored markers
Ribbon or twine
Toppers: ornaments, candy canes, mistletoe Hanukkah: gelt, dreidels, blue/silver decor Universal: pinecones, greenery, baubles, etc
How to Make Them:
Wrap the books individually with tin foil or paper of choice
Pick a holiday phrase that has three words: Ho Ho Ho, Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel, Happy New Year
Write one word from the phase on the spine
Can use more or less books depending upon phrase
Tie books together with ribbon or twine
Attach selected toppers
Playing the Slope Game with other people makes it much more enjoyable. To test who can stay the longest, we switch seats on a regular basis. As the ball accelerates, the strain increases, and even a tiny error might drive you over the edge. It's easy, competitive, and unexpectedly exciting every time I play.
