How to Guide on Getting Rid of Cranberry Stains from The Accidental Housewife

• Treat, pronto

• Read the care label 

• Pretest an inconspicuous area first to insure no discoloration 

• Never rub 

• Do not put in dryer until stain is completely out. Heat will set the stain. 

What you need: 

• Butter knife 

• Aerosol hairspray 

• Paper towels or clean cloth 

• Rubbing alcohol 

• White wine vinegar 

• Spray bottle or dishwashing wand 

How to clean:  

• Remove excess with butter knife. 

• Place a clean cloth behind the stain shirt to prevent bleeding from next step. 

• Douse area with aerosol hairspray. The alcohol will help to lift the stain. 

• Let sit for 2-3 minutes 

• Blot with clean cloth or paper towel 

• Launder par usual 

Alternatively, create a 4:1 mix of rubbing alcohol and white wine vinegar. Put in small spray bottle or dishwashing wand. 

• Apply onto stain.  

• Sponge blot with clean cloth or paper towel. 

• Keep blotting until stain is absorbed.
